The organic cotton light filtering liner is ideal if you would like soft natural light, gentle privacy and a more structured finish. It allows daylight to filter through beautifully while adding extra body and opacity to the Roman shade. This option is lovely for living rooms, kitchens, dining rooms, home offices and spaces where you want privacy without complete darkness.

2. 100% Blackout OEKO-TEX Certified Polycotton Liner

The blackout liner is OEKO-TEX certified, non-toxic and made from 50% cotton and 50% polyester. It blocks light completely through the fabric and is the best option for bedrooms, nurseries, children’s rooms, media rooms and any space where full darkness, privacy and stronger light control are needed.

HOW TO MEASURE FOR INSIDE RECESS INSTALLATION

Inside recess fitting means the Roman shade will sit neatly inside the window frame or recess.

1. Measure the inside width of the window recess at the top, middle and bottom.

2. Use the smallest width measurement.

3. Measure the inside height/drop of the recess from top to bottom.

4. Enter the exact recess width and height in the personalization box.

5. Please mention “inside recess” clearly so the correct clamps can be sent.

This option gives a clean, fitted look and is ideal when you want the Roman blind to sit inside the window frame.

HOW TO MEASURE FOR OUTSIDE RECESS INSTALLATION

Outside recess fitting means the Roman shade will be fitted over the wall, trim or area outside the window opening.

1. Measure the full area you would like the Roman shade to cover.

2. For better privacy and light control, allow extra width on both sides of the window opening if space allows.

3. Measure from the point where you want the shade to start down to where you want it to finish.

4. Enter the exact finished width and height required in the personalization box.

5. Please mention “outside recess” clearly so the correct clamps can be sent.

This option is ideal if your window recess is shallow, if you want more coverage, or if you prefer the shade to frame the window from the outside.

HARDWARE INCLUDED

Hardware is included for installation.

The included hardware consists of clamps and screws. Different clamps are sent depending on whether the Roman shade is being fitted inside the recess or outside the recess, so please mention your fitting type clearly in the personalization box.

Please check that the screws are suitable for your wall, ceiling, frame or trim before installation.
