Choose inside recess mount if you want the Roman blind to fit inside the window frame.

1. Measure the inside width of the recess at the top, middle and bottom.

2. Use the smallest of these width measurements.

3. Measure the inside drop / height on the left, center and right.

4. Use the smallest of these height measurements.

5. Enter these exact measurements in the order details email.

6. Mention “inside recess” so the correct clamps can be sent.

Inside recess mount is ideal for a neat built-in look and works best when the window has enough depth inside the frame.

HOW TO MEASURE FOR OUTSIDE RECESS MOUNT

Choose outside recess mount if you want the Roman shade to hang outside the window frame.

1. Measure the exact width of the area you want the blind to cover.

2. Measure the exact height from where you want the blind to start to where you want it to end.

3. Many customers add extra width on both sides for better privacy and light coverage.

4. Many customers also add extra height above the frame for better coverage and a more decorative look.

5. Enter the exact finished size required in the order details email.

6. Mention “outside recess” so the correct clamps can be sent.

Outside recess mount is ideal for better blackout coverage, shallower window recesses and a fuller decorative window treatment look.
