COLOR & PATTERN

The base fabric is a soft white to very pale natural ivory rather than a stark optic white.

Across this light neutral background are large ornamental damask medallions woven in a muted dusty blue-gray.

The blackout polycotton liner is OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 certified and tested for harmful substances.

The blackout lining is designed to block light from passing through the body of the Roman shade.

It is particularly suitable for:

Please remember that a 100% blackout liner blocks light THROUGH the fabric.

HOW TO MEASURE FOR AN INSIDE-RECESS ROMAN BLIND

An inside-recess Roman shade sits within the window opening for a neat and integrated appearance.

STEP 1

Measure the exact internal width of your recess at the top.

It is also a good idea to check the width through the middle and bottom of the recess to make sure the opening is reasonably square.

STEP 2

Measure the exact internal height of the recess from the top mounting position to the bottom of the window opening.

STEP 3

Enter the EXACT recess width and height in the order details email.

Please do not make your own manufacturing deduction unless specifically requested by us.

STEP 4

State clearly:

INSIDE RECESS

This ensures that the correct inside-recess mounting clamps are supplied.

If your recess varies significantly in width from top to bottom, please send us all measurements before ordering.

HOW TO MEASURE FOR AN OUTSIDE-RECESS ROMAN BLIND

An outside-recess Roman shade is installed over the window opening.

This mounting method can provide greater visual coverage and can also help reduce light entering around the sides of a blackout shade.

STEP 1

Measure the width of your window or window frame.

STEP 2

Where sufficient wall space is available, add approximately:

2 inches / 5 cm on the LEFT side

and

2 inches / 5 cm on the RIGHT side.

This creates approximately:

4 inches / 10 cm of additional overall width.

STEP 3

For the height, begin approximately 4 inches / 10 cm above the top of the window frame where practical.

STEP 4

Measure from this point down to the exact position where you would like the Roman shade to finish.

STEP 5

Enter the resulting FINISHED SHADE WIDTH x HEIGHT in the order details email.

STEP 6

State clearly:

CORDED ROMAN BLIND

This is a functional cord-operated Roman shade.

As the blind is raised, the linen forms neat horizontal folds. When fully lowered, the large dusty blue-gray damask medallions are displayed across the soft white linen face.

The corded operation allows the shade to be positioned at different heights depending on your preferred level of daylight and privacy.
