For better light coverage, add extra width beyond the window opening (commonly 2–4 in / 5–10 cm per side where possible).

Measure the drop from where the shade will be mounted down to where you want it to end.

pattern placement note
Diagonal stripes will be aligned neatly across the shade and will fold naturally when raised. Due to the handmade nature and the way Roman shades stack, stripe alignment may appear slightly different across folds—this is normal and part of the Roman shade look.
