Inside recess fitting means the Roman shade will sit inside the window frame or recess.

Step 1: Measure the exact recess width at the top. Do not make any deductions

Step 4: Enter the exact recess width and height in the order details email.
Step 5: Mention “inside recess” clearly so the correct clamp fitting can be sent.

Inside recess fitting is best when you want a neat built-in look and your recess has enough depth for the Roman shade hardware.

HOW TO MEASURE FOR OUTSIDE RECESS INSTALLATION
Outside recess fitting means the Roman shade will sit outside the window frame and cover the window from the front.

Step 1: Measure the full finished width you want the shade to cover.
Step 2: For better privacy and light control, add extra width on both sides of the window if space allows.
Step 3: Measure the full finished height you want the shade to cover.
Step 4: You may add extra height above the window if you want the fabric stack to sit higher when raised.
Step 5: Enter the final finished width and height in the order details email.
Step 6: Mention “outside recess” clearly so the correct clamp fitting can be sent.

Outside recess fitting is best when you want fuller coverage, better light blocking and a more decorative window treatment look.
