How To Measure For Inside Recess / Inside Mount:

Choose inside recess if you want the roman blind to fit inside the window frame or recess.

Measure the inside width of your window opening at the top, middle, and bottom.

Use the smallest of these measurements.

Measure the inside height from top to bottom at the left, center, and right.

Use the smallest of these measurements.

How To Measure For Outside Recess / Outside Mount:

Choose outside recess if you want the roman shade to be mounted on the wall or frame outside the window opening.

Measure the width of the window opening.

Add extra overlap on both sides for better privacy and light coverage. Around 2–4 inches on each side is usually recommended where space allows.

Measure the height from where you want the blind to start above the window to where you want it to finish.
