Choose inside recess if you want the roman blind to fit inside the window frame or window opening.

Measure the inside width of your window recess at the top, middle, and bottom.

Use the smallest width measurement.

Measure the inside height from top to bottom at the left, center, and right.

Use the smallest height measurement.

How To Measure For Outside Recess / Outside Mount:

Choose outside recess if you want the roman shade to be mounted on the wall or frame outside the window opening.

Measure the full width of the window opening.

Add extra overlap on both sides for better privacy and light coverage. We recommend adding 2–4 inches on each side where space allows.

Measure from the point where you want the blind to start above the window to the point where you want it to finish.

Add extra height above and below the window opening if you want better coverage.
