◆ HOW TO MEASURE FOR YOUR ROMAN BLINDS ◆
Grab a steel measuring tape and follow these easy steps. We recommend measuring in inches down to the nearest 1/8th inch, or exact centimeters.
For an INSIDE RECESS Mount (Mounted inside the window frame):
* Width: Measure the exact inside width of the window frame at the top, middle, and bottom. Provide us with the NARROWEST measurement. (We will make a tiny deduction to ensure the blind operates smoothly without rubbing the sides).
* Length/Height: Measure the exact inside height from the top inside edge down to the window sill at the left, center, and right. Provide us with the LONGEST measurement.
For an OUTSIDE RECESS Mount (Mounted on the wall above the window):
* Width: Measure the exact width of the window opening and add 2 to 4 inches (5-10 cm) to each side (4 to 8 inches total) to ensure full coverage and minimize light leakage.
* Length/Height: Measure the exact height of the window opening. Add at least 2 to 4 inches (5-10 cm) above the window frame for the mounting hardware, and add an additional 2 to 4 inches (5-10 cm) below the window sill (or wherever you want the blind to drop to) to ensure complete coverage. Provide these final calculated measurements.
Please feel free to message me if you have any questions about measuring or need a custom size outside of these ranges!
