HOW TO MEASURE
For Inside Mount (Fitting within the window frame recess):
* Width: Measure the exact inside width of the window frame at the top, middle, and bottom. Provide us with the NARROWEST measurement. We will make the necessary slight deductions so the shade operates smoothly without rubbing the sides.
* Length: Measure the exact inside height of the window frame from top to bottom at the left, middle, and right. Provide us with the LONGEST measurement.
* Depth requirement: Ensure your window frame has enough depth (at least 2 inches) to mount the hardware securely inside.
For Outside Mount (Fitting on the wall above the window frame):
* Width: Measure the width of the window opening and add 3 to 6 inches (1.5 to 3 inches on each side) for optimal light coverage and privacy. Provide us with this final total width.
* Length: Measure the height of the window opening and add at least 4 to 6 inches to allow the blind to be mounted above the frame and overlap the bottom. Provide us with this final total height.
Please double-check all measurements before submitting your order, as these are custom-made strictly to your specifications. Message us if you have any questions!
