MEASURING GUIDE FOR ROMAN SHADES

INSIDE RECESS MEASURING

If you want the Roman shade to fit inside the window recess:

Measure the exact recess width at the top. Do not make any deductions. Measure the exact recess height without making deductions. Use a steel measuring tape for accuracy. Send us the exact recess measurements in the order details email. Do not make any deductions yourself. We will make the Roman blind appropriately for inside fitting.

OUTSIDE RECESS MEASURING

If you want the Roman shade to hang outside the recess:

Measure the width you want the blind to cover, including overlap beyond the window opening. Measure the drop from where you want the blind to start down to where you want it to finish. For better light control and fuller window coverage, many customers add extra width overlap on both sides and extra drop above the window. Send us the exact finished outside measurements in the order details email.

PLEASE MEASURE CAREFULLY

Always measure each window separately, even if windows appear similar in size. Double check all measurements before ordering, as each Roman shade is custom made specifically to your requested size.

HARDWARE INCLUDED

The hardware included with the Roman shade consists of clamps and screws. Different clamps are supplied depending on the fitting type: Clamps for fitting within the recess Clamps for outside recess installation
