2. 100% Blackout OEKO-TEX Certified Polycotton Liner

This is a non-toxic OEKO-TEX certified blackout liner made from 50% cotton and 50% polyester. It blocks light completely and is ideal for bedrooms, nurseries, media rooms, guest rooms and any space where you want privacy, darkness and better light control.

HOW TO MEASURE FOR INSIDE RECESS / INSIDE MOUNT

Inside recess means the Roman shade will fit inside the window frame or window opening.

Step 1: Measure the inside width of your window opening in three places: top, middle and bottom.

Step 2: Note the smallest width measurement. This is important because window openings are not always perfectly straight.

Step 3: Measure the inside height/drop of the window opening from the top inside edge to the bottom sill.

Step 4: Select the width and length range that contains your measurement.

Step 5: Enter the exact inside recess width and height in the order details email.

Step 6: Write “Inside recess installation” or “Inside mount” in the order details email.

Example:

Exact size: 34.5 W x 60 H inches

Mount: Inside recess

Liner: 100% Blackout

HOW TO MEASURE FOR OUTSIDE RECESS / OUTSIDE MOUNT

Outside recess means the Roman shade will be fitted outside the window frame, covering the window opening from the front.

Step 1: Measure the full window width.

Step 2: Add extra overlap on both sides for better coverage and privacy. We usually recommend adding 2 to 4 inches / approx. 5 to 10 cm on each side, if wall space allows.

Step 3: Measure the full height you want the shade to cover. You can start above the window frame and end at the sill or below the sill, depending on your preferred look.

Step 4: Add extra height above the window if you want the shade to stack higher and allow more light when raised. A common choice is 4 to 6 inches / approx. 10 to 15 cm above the frame, where space allows.

Step 5: Select the width and length range that contains your final finished shade size.

Step 6: Enter the exact outside mount finished width and finished height in the order details email.

Step 7: Write “Outside recess installation” or “Outside mount” in the order details email.
