Custom Beige Pure Linen Roman Shade, White Sheep & Green Trees, Nursery Blackout or Light Filtering Blind
EMBROIDERED SHEEP AND TREES PURE LINEN ROMAN SHADE FOR NURSERY AND KIDS’ ROOMS
Create a calm, welcoming nursery or children’s room with this custom-made corded Roman shade, crafted from OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified pure linen.
The warm natural flax-beige linen is decorated with widely spaced embroidered sheep and stylized woodland trees. Each sheep has a highly textured ivory-white body created from dense curled and looped embroidery, with brown faces, tiny dark eyes and short brown legs. The trees are embroidered in muted olive, moss and soft sage green with brown trunks and delicate grass details.
The combination of natural linen, dimensional white sheep and earthy green trees gives this made-to-measure Roman blind a gentle farmhouse, woodland and countryside character. It works beautifully in gender-neutral nurseries, baby rooms, toddler bedrooms, playrooms, reading corners and nature-inspired children’s interiors.
Choose between an organic cotton light-filtering liner and an OEKO-TEX certified non-toxic 100% blackout polycotton liner, depending on your preferred level of light control and privacy.

DETAILED COLOR DESCRIPTION
LINEN BACKGROUND
The pure linen ground is a warm natural neutral that may be described as:
• Natural flax
• Oatmeal beige
• Light linen beige
• Warm greige
• Pale mushroom
• Soft stone
• Natural ecru
The background is not a bright white, yellow cream or dark brown. It is a pale flax-beige with subtle warm-gray and oatmeal undertones.
The natural linen weave contains fine ivory and beige yarn variations that give the surface an organic crosshatched appearance.
SHEEP EMBROIDERY
The sheep’s fleece is primarily:
• Ivory white
• Natural white
• Soft cream
• Warm off-white
The fleece is not flat printing. It is formed from genuine raised looped embroidery, producing a dense curly texture that resembles soft wool.
The sheep also contain:
• Medium-brown faces
• Chestnut-brown and dark-brown thread details
• Short brown legs
• Tiny dark-brown eyes
• Pale yellow-green grass stitches
TREE EMBROIDERY
The stylized trees are stitched in several softly coordinated greens:
• Olive green
• Moss green
• Lichen green
• Muted sage
• Soft eucalyptus green
• Pale yellow-green grass
The tree trunks are medium to dark brown.
Some trees are slightly warmer and more olive-toned, while others appear cooler and closer to muted sage or eucalyptus.
The principal color combination is:
NATURAL FLAX-BEIGE LINEN
+
IVORY-WHITE SHEEP
+
OLIVE AND SAGE-GREEN TREES
+
BROWN DETAILS
Natural daylight may make the linen appear lighter and more ivory-beige. Warm artificial lighting may emphasize its oatmeal, flax and mushroom undertones.
Colors may vary slightly because of photography, screen calibration, room lighting, surrounding wall colors and normal linen-batch variation.
DETAILED SHEEP AND TREE PATTERN
The embroidered design features a sparse arrangement of rounded sheep and tall, softly tapered trees.
The sheep are shown from the side and face in different directions. Their bodies are almost circular, with small brown faces and short legs emerging from beneath the heavily textured white fleece.
The looped thread creates:
• Convincing woolly texture
• Raised three-dimensional embroidery
• Small natural curls and loops
• Gentle thread shadows
• A tactile handmade appearance
The trees have elongated, softly pointed silhouettes resembling simplified cypress, topiary or woodland trees. They are embroidered using closely packed directional stitches that create a smoother texture than the curly sheep.
Small tufts of pale green grass appear beneath the sheep and trees, grounding each motif on the natural linen background.
The motifs are widely spaced rather than arranged in a dense continuous repeat. The open flax-beige areas keep the fabric calm, airy and suitable for a peaceful nursery.
From across the room, the shade reads as a natural beige Roman blind with white sheep and soft green trees. At closer range, the linen weave, curled fleece loops, individual stitches, brown facial details and variations within the green trees become clearly visible.
Because each Roman shade is cut according to custom measurements, the exact number, position and direction of the sheep and trees will vary. Some motifs may begin or finish partially at the sides, top or bottom of the completed shade.

LINER OPTIONS
Your liner selection must be entered in the order details email.
OPTION 1: ORGANIC COTTON LIGHT-FILTERING LINER
The organic cotton light-filtering liner gently diffuses incoming daylight while allowing a comfortable natural glow to remain in the room.
It improves privacy, adds body and structure to the pure linen and gives the reverse of the Roman shade a neat, finished appearance.
This option is especially suitable for:
• Playrooms
• Reading corners
• Daytime nurseries
• Kids’ bedrooms where natural light is desired
• Family rooms
• Home offices
• Rooms where complete darkness is unnecessary
Light filtering does not mean blackout. Daylight will continue to pass softly through the lined shade. The result will depend on the direction of the window, time of day, strength of sunlight and surrounding room lighting.
Silhouettes may remain visible from outside at night when the room lights are switched on.
OPTION 2: 100% BLACKOUT OEKO-TEX CERTIFIED POLYCOTTON LINER
The blackout liner is an OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified, non-toxic polycotton fabric composed of:
• 50% cotton
• 50% polyester
It is designed to prevent light from passing through the lined face fabric while providing maximum privacy and stronger room-darkening performance.
The blackout option is particularly suitable for:
• Nurseries
• Baby rooms
• Children’s bedrooms
• Nap-time spaces
• Street-facing rooms
• Rooms receiving strong morning or afternoon sunlight
• Guest bedrooms
• Media rooms
“100% blackout” refers to light being blocked through the liner and face fabric. A small amount of light may remain visible around the edges of the installed shade, particularly with an inside-recess fitting where clearance is required for operation.
For the strongest overall room-darkening effect, consider an outside-recess installation with sufficient overlap above, below and on both sides of the window opening.

HOW TO MEASURE FOR AN INSIDE-RECESS ROMAN SHADE
An inside-recess or inside-mount Roman shade fits within the window opening for a neat, streamlined appearance.
1. Use a rigid metal measuring tape rather than a flexible fabric tape.
2. Check that the recess has sufficient flat depth for the shade mechanism and mounting clamps. Approximately 1.5 inches or 3.8 cm of clear depth is generally required.
3. Measure the exact recess width at the top. Do not make any deductions
4. Measure the exact recess width at the top. Do not make any deductions
5. Measure the exact recess height. Do not make any deductions
6. Measure the exact recess height. Do not make any deductions
7. Measure at the depth where the mechanism and clamps will actually be installed.
8. Check for projecting handles, locks, tiles, molding, alarm sensors or other obstructions.
9. Enter the exact recess width and height in the order details email.
10. Clearly state “INSIDE RECESS.”
11. Do not make your own fitting deduction. The necessary manufacturing allowance will be applied so the finished shade can operate within the recess.
12. Measure every window individually, even if several windows appear identical.
Measure to the nearest 1/8 inch or approximately 0.3 cm. Do not round to the nearest whole inch or centimeter.
HOW TO MEASURE FOR AN OUTSIDE-RECESS ROMAN SHADE
An outside-recess or outside-mount Roman shade is installed over the wall, trim or frame surrounding the window opening.
1. Measure the uncovered width of the window opening.
2. Where space permits, add approximately 2 inches or 5 cm to the left and 2 inches or 5 cm to the right.
3. This provides approximately 4 inches or 10 cm of total additional width for improved privacy and reduced side light.
4. Decide where the top mounting clamps will be installed. Approximately 4 inches or 10 cm above the window frame is commonly recommended when sufficient flat space is available.
5. Measure from the planned upper mounting position to the exact point where you want the bottom of the shade to finish.
6. Include any required overlap below the window opening or sill.
7. Enter the complete finished width and height, including all added overlap, in the order details email.
8. Clearly state “OUTSIDE RECESS.”
9. Check that the mounting area is flat and free from handles, vents, switches, molding or other obstructions.
10. For stronger room darkening, allow generous overlap around all sides where space permits.
The maximum finished width available through the listed options is 54 inches or approximately 137.2 cm.
HARDWARE INCLUDED
Mounting hardware is included with every Roman shade.
The package will contain:
• Mounting clamps appropriate for your selected installation method
• Screws
Different clamps are required for inside-recess and outside-recess installation. Enter your installation method clearly so the correct clamps can be supplied.
The suitability of the supplied screws will depend on the material and condition of the mounting surface. Plasterboard, masonry, concrete, tile, hollow walls or other specialist surfaces may require suitable wall plugs, anchors or alternative fixings.

NATURAL PURE LINEN CHARACTERISTICS
Pure linen naturally contains small slubs, fine knots, visible fibers and subtle variations in thread thickness, weave and color.
These characteristics are normal features of genuine linen and should not be considered manufacturing defects.
Separate Roman shades ordered at different times may show slight differences in linen tone because of normal fabric-batch variation.
The raised sheep embroidery may produce slight natural variation in the folds when the Roman shade is raised. This is expected with highly dimensional embroidered fabric.
EMBROIDERY CARE
The sheep’s curled fleece is intentionally formed from raised loops. Avoid pulling, picking or rubbing these loops.
• Remove surface dust gently using a clean, soft upholstery brush.
• A vacuum cleaner with a clean upholstery attachment may be used on very low suction.
• Do not pull loose-looking embroidery loops.
• Do not scrub the sheep or tree motifs.
• Do not machine wash the completed Roman shade.
• Do not immerse the shade or operating mechanism in water.
• Do not use bleach or harsh cleaning chemicals.
• Professional curtain or Roman-shade cleaning is recommended for deeper cleaning.
IMPORTANT CORD SAFETY
This Roman shade is cord operated and is not cordless.
Window-covering cords can create a serious strangulation hazard for babies and young children. Keep the operating cord and all internal cords permanently secured and inaccessible to children.
Never position a crib, child’s bed, changing table, chair, toy box or climbable furniture close to the shade or its operating cord.
Install every supplied cord-restraint, tensioning and safety component exactly as instructed. The completed operating system, internal cords, safety devices, warning labels and installation method must comply with the current requirements of the destination country.
Cordless or inaccessible-cord window coverings are the safest choice wherever young children are present. Before purchasing this corded product for a nursery or child’s bedroom, confirm that the operating system complies with all applicable local regulations.
