You can install this Roman shade either inside the window recess or outside the recess.
• Inside recess mount: for a clean, built-in look (uses inside-mount clamps)
• Outside recess mount: helps block more light and can make windows look larger (uses outside-mount clamps)
Included hardware: clamps (correct type for your chosen mount) + screws

MEASURING GUIDE

For INSIDE RECESS (inside mount)
• Measure the exact inside recess width AT THE TOP. Do not make any deductions from your measurements.
• Measure the exact inside recess height.
• Recommended: provide exact window measurements and tell us it’s inside mount. We will confirm the best finished size.
Note: If you want a snug fit, ensure your recess depth is sufficient for the hardware and stacked folds.

For OUTSIDE RECESS (outside mount)
• Decide how much overlap you want beyond the window frame (commonly 2–4 inches / 5–10 cm on each side).
• Width: measure window frame width and add your desired side overlaps.
• Length: measure from where you want the shade to start above the window to where you want it to end (sill or below).
Outside mount is ideal for better light block and for shallow recesses.

LIGHT CONTROL OPTIONS
• Light filtering (cotton liner): soft privacy with a gentle glow, reduces glare
• 100% blackout (polycotton liner): maximum privacy and light block, great for bedrooms, nurseries, and media rooms

NOTES
• Linen is a natural fiber; subtle slubs and tiny variations are normal and part of its beauty.
• Pattern placement may vary slightly from shade to shade due to handcrafting and cutting.
• Color may look slightly different on different screens, but we match the fabric carefully for every order.
