HOW TO MEASURE FOR INSIDE RECESS MOUNT

Choose inside recess mount if you want the Roman blind to fit neatly inside the window frame.

1. Measure the inside width of your window recess at the top, middle and bottom.

2. Use the smallest width measurement.

3. Measure the inside height / drop of your window recess on the left, center and right.

4. Use the smallest height measurement.

5. Enter the exact recess measurements in the order details email.

6. Also mention “inside recess” so we can send the correct clamps.

Inside recess mount is best for a clean built-in look, deeper window frames and windows where you want the Roman blind to sit neatly inside the frame.

HOW TO MEASURE FOR OUTSIDE RECESS MOUNT

Choose outside recess mount if you want the Roman shade to be fitted outside and above the window frame.

1. Measure the full width of the area you want the Roman shade to cover.

2. Measure the height from the point where you want the shade to start to the point where you want it to end.

3. For better privacy and light coverage, many customers add extra width on both sides of the window.

4. For better stacking space when the shade is raised, you may add extra height above the window.

5. Enter the exact finished size you want us to make.

6. Also mention “outside recess” so we can send the correct clamps.

Outside recess mount is best for better blackout coverage, shallow window frames, covering the full window opening and creating a more decorative finished look.
