2. 100% Blackout OEKO-TEX Certified Polycotton Liner
Choose this option if you want maximum room darkening and privacy. The blackout liner is a non-toxic OEKO-TEX certified polycotton fabric made from 50% cotton and 50% polyester. It blocks light through the fabric and is recommended for bedrooms, nurseries, kids rooms, media rooms, guest rooms, and daytime sleep spaces. For the best blackout effect, outside recess mounting with extra side overlap is recommended because small light gaps can appear around the edges depending on your window and installation style.

HOW TO MEASURE FOR INSIDE RECESS INSTALLATION
Inside recess means the Roman blind will be fitted inside the window opening.

1. Measure the inside width of your window recess in three places: top, middle, and bottom.

2. Use the smallest width measurement as your exact recess width.

3. Measure the inside height/drop from the top of the recess to the sill in three places: left, center, and right.

4. Use the longest height measurement as your required drop.

5. Enter the exact inside recess width and height in the order details email.

6. Clearly write “inside recess” so we can prepare the blind and hardware accordingly.

Inside recess gives a clean, fitted look and is ideal when you want the blind to sit neatly within the window frame.

HOW TO MEASURE FOR OUTSIDE RECESS INSTALLATION
Outside recess means the Roman blind will be fitted outside and above the window opening.

1. Measure the full width you want the blind to cover.

2. For better privacy and light control, add extra overlap on both sides of the window frame if space allows.

3. Measure from the point where you want the blind to start at the top to where you want it to finish at the bottom.

4. For better blackout performance, allow extra coverage above and around the window frame.

5. Enter the final finished blind width and finished drop in the order details email.

6. Clearly write “outside recess” so we can prepare the blind and hardware accordingly.

Outside recess is recommended when you want more window coverage, more privacy, and better room darkening.
