Measure for your curtains

Enter your width and height together, then apply your measurements.

Size-dropdown widths are flat fabric widths per curtain.

A gathered curtain covers less space than its flat fabric width. Choose fullness below; Grommet/Eyelet and Pinch pleats always need 2× your coverage width.

This selection also updates Heading style on the product page.

Choose your fullness

Multiply the rod / track coverage by your fullness, then divide by the number of curtains.

Photorealistic fullness examples; actual folds vary with fabric and heading.

Measure the usable span of your installed rod or track, from one end of the curtain coverage to the other. Exclude decorative finials.

A pair contains two curtains. The flat fabric width you order is per curtain, not the combined pair. Choosing a curtain count here updates Panel quantity on the product page.

Enter the full measured drop. For Hooks top only, we subtract 1 in (2.54 cm) because the curtain hangs slightly below the rod. Do not deduct it yourself.

Finished curtain height to orderEnter the height you measured above.

Apply your measurements

We select the exact available flat-width × finished-height size, or the closest larger size fitting both dimensions. For a larger size, your exact request is added to Custom sizes / requirements, preserving your own notes. Your curtain-count choice also updates Panel quantity on the product page.

Review your heading and fullness before applying. This updates your selected size but does not add anything to your cart.

Measure the space your curtains will cover

Measure the usable span of your installed rod or track, from one end of the curtain coverage to the other. Exclude decorative finials.

Measure the usable rod or track span—not the window glass or decorative finials.

Example: a 100 in (254 cm) rod, two curtains and 2× fullness need 100 in (254 cm) flat width per curtain.

Flat fabric width before gathering or pleating—not the hanging coverage.

Measure from the top of the rod to your chosen bottom

Measure straight down from the top of your installed curtain rod to where you want the curtains to end. For a track, use the top of the installed track.

Start at the top of the rod or track. Stop at your chosen bottom.

Black Mustard Pure Linen Curtains, Beige Tribal Geometric Drapes, Custom Blackout or Light-Filtering Panels

Product description

BLACK, MUSTARD & NATURAL BEIGE PURE LINEN CURTAINS WITH TRIBAL GEOMETRIC PRINT

Bring bold geometric pattern, earthy colour and the rich natural texture of heavyweight pure linen to your windows with these custom-made printed linen curtains.

The fabric combines a natural flax, oatmeal-beige and softly greige linen ground with strong charcoal-black and muted mustard-ochre printed detailing. Oversized diamonds, angular triangles, nested chevrons, arrow forms and small graphic accents repeat across the fabric to create a striking tribal geometric pattern with a relaxed bohemian and Southwestern-inspired character.

These are thick and substantial PURE LINEN CURTAINS rather than lightweight synthetic linen-look panels.

Each curtain is individually made to order and can be purchased as:

• ONE SINGLE CURTAIN PANEL

or

• A PAIR / SET OF TWO MATCHING CURTAIN PANELS

Choose the curtains UNLINED for a naturally semi-sheer, light-filtering linen appearance, add an ORGANIC COTTON LIGHT-FILTERING LINER for additional privacy and complete opacity, or select our OEKO-TEX® CERTIFIED 100% BLACKOUT POLYCOTTON LINER when maximum darkness and light blocking are required.

A large range of standard sizes is available, and custom widths and lengths are welcome.

COLOUR DESCRIPTION

The overall colour palette is earthy, graphic and warm-neutral rather than bright or highly saturated.

The main background colour can be described as:

• Natural flax
• Oatmeal beige
• Natural linen beige
• Light greige
• Warm stone
• Pale mushroom
• Soft taupe-beige
• Natural ecru

The principal printed colours are:

• Charcoal black
• Soft black
• Graphite
• Mustard yellow
• Ochre
• Golden mustard
• Muted saffron
• Antique gold

The strongest overall visual impression is:

NATURAL BEIGE + MUSTARD OCHRE + CHARCOAL BLACK

The black is not a shiny or intensely synthetic jet black. Because it is printed over textured natural linen, it retains the slightly softened appearance expected from pigment printed onto an irregular woven surface.

Likewise, the mustard colour is earthy and muted rather than fluorescent yellow, lemon yellow or bright primary yellow.

Depending on the room lighting, surrounding furnishings and screen calibration, the mustard areas may appear as mustard yellow, antique gold, muted ochre or warm saffron.

The linen background may appear lighter in direct daylight and slightly warmer under indoor lighting.

PATTERN DESCRIPTION

The pattern is a bold repeating geometric print composed primarily of large angular forms.

The design incorporates:

• Oversized diamond shapes
• Large triangular colour blocks
• Nested chevrons
• Arrowhead shapes
• Angular outlined diamonds
• Double black linear accents
• Fine mustard outlines
• Small black chevron marks
• Repeated directional geometric forms

Some of the larger motifs appear almost like divided diamonds, with one portion filled in mustard and another filled in deep charcoal black.

Surrounding these larger shapes are multiple thin geometric outlines that echo the main diamond and arrow forms.

The smaller black graphic marks positioned between the larger motifs keep the design visually connected while allowing enough of the natural linen ground to remain visible.

The overall effect is bold without becoming overly busy.

The pattern can be described stylistically as:

• Tribal geometric
• Bohemian geometric
• Boho curtain print
• Southwestern-inspired
• Modern rustic
• Global-inspired
• Graphic geometric
• Organic modern
• Ethnic-inspired geometric
• Desert-modern
• Mudcloth-inspired in visual character

Please note that this is a PRINTED geometric design. It should not be interpreted as authentic handwoven mudcloth, embroidery, appliqué or jacquard.

PURE HEAVYWEIGHT LINEN

The face fabric is PURE LINEN.

The supplied fabric weight is approximately 403 grams per linear metre on fabric measuring 54 inches wide.

54 inches is approximately 1.3716 metres.

403 grams ÷ 1.3716 metres = approximately 293.8 grams per square metre.

The face linen therefore weighs approximately:

294 GSM

This approximately 294 GSM weight places the fabric firmly in the substantial curtain-weight linen category rather than the lightweight linen-voile category.

The thicker construction gives the finished curtains greater body and helps them fall into strong, attractive vertical folds.

Despite its substantial weight, linen retains the relaxed organic appearance associated with genuine flax fibre.

NATURAL LINEN CHARACTERISTICS

Pure linen is a natural textile and should not be expected to have the completely uniform appearance of polyester.

You may notice:

• Natural linen slubs
• Occasional thicker yarns
• Fine yarn irregularities
• Small variations in weave
• Slight tonal variation
• Natural creases
• Tiny differences in print absorption
• Subtle texture variations across the cloth

These are inherent characteristics of genuine linen and contribute to its natural appearance.

They are not considered defects.

The geometric print is applied over this naturally textured surface, so the underlying linen weave remains visible throughout the design.

This makes the curtains feel substantially more organic and tactile than a perfectly smooth synthetic printed panel.

PRINTED — NOT EMBROIDERED

The mustard, charcoal-black and beige geometric design is PRINTED onto the pure linen face fabric.

It is not embroidered.

It is not woven jacquard.

It is not appliquéd.

It does not have raised stitched motifs.

The natural weave and texture of the linen remain visible beneath and between the printed elements.

UNLINED OPTION — SEMI-SHEER PRIVACY CURTAINS

Choose UNLINED when you want the most natural and relaxed expression of the pure linen fabric.

Although the fabric itself is thick and heavyweight, natural linen still allows some daylight to pass through its woven structure when strongly illuminated from behind.

For this reason, the unlined version can be described as:

• Semi-sheer privacy curtains
• Natural light-filtering curtains
• Heavy linen curtains with gentle translucency
• Daylight-filtering window panels

These are not extremely thin voile or gauze curtains.

The approximately 294 GSM linen has considerably more substance than a traditional sheer.

However, strong daylight coming through the window may illuminate the fabric and reveal some silhouettes.

Night-time privacy may also depend on how brightly the room is illuminated compared with the exterior.

If complete opacity is important, choose the organic cotton liner.

ORGANIC COTTON LIGHT-FILTERING LINER

An ORGANIC COTTON LIGHT-FILTERING LINER can be added behind the pure linen face fabric.

This option is ideal when you want:

• Increased privacy
• Complete opacity
• Less visibility of silhouettes
• Softer incoming daylight
• Additional fabric body
• A more substantial finished curtain
• Protection of the decorative face fabric from direct window light

The cotton liner makes the finished curtain completely opaque while continuing to allow softened ambient daylight into the room.

It is particularly useful for:

• Living rooms
• Dining rooms
• Bedrooms
• Guest bedrooms
• Street-facing rooms
• Home offices
• Nurseries where full blackout is not necessary

Adding the cotton lining also gives the finished curtains slightly greater structure and helps support deeper vertical folds.

OEKO-TEX® CERTIFIED 100% BLACKOUT LINER

For maximum light blocking, choose the OEKO-TEX® CERTIFIED POLYCOTTON BLACKOUT LINER.

This liner is designed to stop transmitted light from passing through the main body of the curtain.

It is the best option for:

• Bedrooms
• Nurseries
• Children's rooms
• Home cinemas
• Media rooms
• Rooms receiving strong morning sunlight
• Rooms affected by street lighting
• Shift workers
• Customers who prefer a very dark sleeping environment

With the blackout liner fitted, the curtain body itself becomes completely blackout.

Please remember that the final darkness of any room can also depend on how the curtains are installed.

Small amounts of light can still enter around the sides, top, centre opening or bottom if the curtains do not overlap the surrounding wall sufficiently.

SOLD AS ONE PANEL OR A PAIR / SET OF TWO

You can purchase these curtains in whichever configuration best suits your window.

SINGLE PIECE

Selecting a single piece means you receive:

ONE finished curtain panel.

This can be suitable for:

• Narrow windows
• Doors
• Small openings
• Windows designed for one-way curtain opening
• Customers who already own one matching panel

PAIR / SET OF TWO

Selecting a pair means you receive:

TWO matching finished curtain panels.

A pair is typically used with one panel positioned on each side of a window.

This is suitable for:

• Standard bedroom windows
• Living-room windows
• Dining-room windows
• French doors
• Sliding doors
• Wide windows
• Large architectural openings

Please check the quantity selected carefully before placing your order.

STANDARD WIDTH OPTIONS

The standard finished width options are:

• 50 inches wide
• 100 inches wide

The width selected refers to the approximate finished flat width of the curtain before it is gathered on the rod or track.

CURTAIN FULLNESS

When choosing your curtain width, remember that curtains generally look more luxurious when the total flat curtain width is greater than the width of the area being covered.

How much fullness you need depends on:

• Your window width
• Curtain pole or track width
• Heading style
• The amount of gathering you prefer
• Whether you are ordering one panel or a pair

If you are unsure which width to select, measuring the complete curtain pole or track rather than only the glass width usually gives a more useful starting point.

100-INCH-WIDE CURTAIN CONSTRUCTION

IMPORTANT:

A finished curtain that is 100 inches wide cannot be cut from one uninterrupted width of this fabric because the face linen is approximately 50 inches wide for curtain construction.

Therefore:

EVERY 100-INCH-WIDE CURTAIN WILL BE MADE BY JOINING TWO 50-INCH FABRIC PANELS.

The two fabric widths are professionally joined with a vertical seam.

The seam runs vertically through the finished curtain.

Once the curtain is installed, gathered and hanging naturally in folds, this seam is generally barely visible.

Using joined fabric widths for extra-wide curtains is a normal curtain-making technique.

If you purchase a PAIR of 100-inch-wide curtains, each individual 100-inch panel will have its own joined seam.

STANDARD HEIGHT OPTIONS

Standard finished curtain lengths are available from 36 inches to 180 inches in 12-inch increments.

Available heights include:

• 36 inches
• 48 inches
• 60 inches
• 72 inches
• 84 inches
• 96 inches
• 108 inches
• 120 inches
• 132 inches
• 144 inches
• 156 inches
• 168 inches
• 180 inches

This broad range allows the same fabric to be used for everything from shorter windows to dramatic floor-to-ceiling curtains.

CUSTOM SIZES ARE AVAILABLE

Custom widths and lengths are welcome.

If your exact required measurement is not shown in the listing options:

SELECT THE NEXT AVAILABLE SIZE UP.

Then write your exact required FINISHED measurements in the order details email.

For example:

If you need:

50″ W × 91″ H

select:

50″ W × 96″ H

and write:

“Please make finished size 50″ W × 91″ H.”

The curtain will then be made according to the exact requested finished measurement.

Please enter measurements as:

WIDTH × HEIGHT

and carefully check your dimensions before placing the order.

CUSTOM WIDTH EXAMPLE

If you require a width smaller than the listed 50-inch option, select the 50-inch width and specify the smaller finished width in Personalization.

If your required finished width exceeds 50 inches, select the appropriate next width option and clearly state the exact required width.

FOUR HEADING STYLES AVAILABLE

Four different curtain heading styles are available.

Please mention your required heading in the order details email.

The available heading options are:

1. HOOKS TOP
2. BACK TABS
3. ROD POCKET
4. GROMMETS

HOOKS TOP

Hooks-top curtains are suitable for both curtain rods and curtain tracks.

This option is particularly versatile because it can be installed using:

• Curtain tracks
• Rods or poles with curtain rings
• Compatible curtain hook systems

The heading remains relatively discreet while allowing the curtains to hang in controlled folds.

If you already have an existing curtain track, hooks top is generally the most suitable of the four available options.

BACK TABS

With a BACK-TAB heading, fabric tabs are sewn behind the upper portion of the curtain.

The curtain pole passes through these hidden tabs.

From the front, the rod is largely concealed behind the curtain heading.

Back tabs create:

• Clean vertical folds
• A relaxed tailored appearance
• Minimal visible hardware
• A modern and understated top finish

This heading works particularly well with the strong geometric print because it keeps the upper construction visually simple.

ROD POCKET

A sewn fabric channel is created across the top of the curtain.

The curtain rod slides directly through this channel.

Rod-pocket curtains provide:

• A relaxed gathered appearance
• Simple installation
• No requirement for separate curtain rings
• A softer traditional or bohemian look

Rod pocket is particularly popular for:

• Bedrooms
• Living rooms
• Smaller windows
• Cafe curtains
• Cottage and boho interiors

GROMMETS

Metal grommets or eyelets are fitted across the top of the curtain.

The curtain rod passes directly through the grommets.

This creates:

• Regular folds
• Easy movement along the rod
• A contemporary appearance
• Visible decorative hardware at the top

Grommet curtains work particularly well in modern, industrial, contemporary-boho and modern-rustic interiors.

CAFE CURTAINS ARE ALSO AVAILABLE

We can also make CAFE CURTAINS from this same mustard, black and natural beige printed pure linen.

Cafe curtains are shorter curtains that usually cover the lower part of a window while leaving the upper portion exposed.

They are particularly useful where you want privacy without covering the complete window.

Custom cafe curtains can work especially well in:

• Kitchens
• Breakfast rooms
• Bathrooms
• Powder rooms
• Utility rooms
• Laundry rooms
• Small cottage windows
• Half windows
• Breakfast nooks
• Kitchen sink windows

The warm mustard, charcoal and natural linen colour palette works especially well as a kitchen cafe curtain because it coordinates easily with wood, stone, black hardware and neutral cabinetry.

If you require cafe curtains, simply select the next suitable size up and enter your exact required finished dimensions in the order details email.

Please also specify the required heading and whether you would like them unlined, cotton lined or blackout lined.

EXTRA-LONG CURTAINS

With standard lengths available up to 180 inches, this fabric can also be used for extremely tall custom curtains.

The oversized geometric motifs are especially effective over large expanses of fabric.

Extra-long curtains can suit:

• High ceilings
• Floor-to-ceiling windows
• Double-height living rooms
• Loft interiors
• Tall bedroom windows
• Large sliding doors
• Dramatic architectural openings

The large-scale geometric pattern remains visually strong when viewed from across a larger room.

INTERIOR DESIGN STYLE

These curtains work particularly well with:

BOHO INTERIORS

Combine with natural wood, rattan, woven rugs, handmade pottery and textured neutral upholstery.

ORGANIC MODERN INTERIORS

Pair with oatmeal sofas, warm white walls, oak furniture, sculptural ceramics and matte-black details.

SOUTHWESTERN-INSPIRED INTERIORS

The mustard, charcoal and warm neutral palette works naturally with terracotta, leather, dark wood, woven textiles and earthy decorative pieces.

MODERN RUSTIC INTERIORS

Use with reclaimed timber, aged brass, stone, linen upholstery and textured walls.

ECLECTIC INTERIORS

The bold geometric pattern can be used as a statement textile alongside art, vintage furniture and mixed natural materials.

MINIMALIST BOHO INTERIORS

Because the colour palette is limited to mustard, black and natural neutrals, the curtains can still work in restrained interiors even though the pattern itself is bold.

COLOUR PAIRING IDEAS

These curtains coordinate especially well with:

• Warm white
• Ivory
• Cream
• Oatmeal
• Beige
• Greige
• Camel
• Cognac
• Natural oak
• Medium walnut
• Dark walnut
• Charcoal
• Matte black
• Mustard
• Ochre
• Terracotta
• Rust
• Muted olive
• Sage green
• Antique brass
• Bronze
• Natural rattan
• Jute

The mustard brings warmth, while the black provides strong visual definition.

The large amount of natural flax-beige ground keeps the overall design from feeling excessively dark.

BEDROOM CURTAINS

For bedrooms, we recommend either:

ORGANIC COTTON LINING

for privacy and gentle filtered daylight,

or:

100% BLACKOUT LINING

for customers who prefer maximum darkness.

The bold pattern can act as a decorative focal point behind otherwise simple bedroom furnishings.

LIVING ROOM CURTAINS

For living rooms, unlined or cotton-lined versions are both excellent options depending on the required degree of privacy.

Unlined panels allow more of the natural linen texture and window light to remain visible.

Cotton lining provides a fuller, more opaque appearance.

DINING ROOM CURTAINS

The mustard and charcoal pattern works particularly well with:

• Timber dining furniture
• Black metal lighting
• Natural stone
• Brass accents
• Cane dining chairs
• Neutral rugs
• Ceramic tableware

HOME OFFICE CURTAINS

The geometric pattern can add interest to a neutral home office without using floral or highly decorative motifs.

Choose cotton lining where screen glare needs to be softened while retaining daylight.

Choose blackout lining where stronger light control is needed.

PRINT PLACEMENT

Because these curtains are made from a repeating printed textile, exact motif placement can vary slightly between individual panels and different sizes.

Where a pair is ordered, the panels are cut from the same design and intended to coordinate together.

Due to fabric cutting, exact motif positioning relative to the finished top and side edges may vary slightly.

This is normal for made-to-order patterned curtains.

NATURAL FABRIC MOVEMENT

Heavy linen develops natural folds and soft creasing during packing and shipping.

After installation, many of these creases relax naturally under the weight of the curtain.

The linen should retain a relaxed rather than completely rigid appearance.

The substantial approximately 294 GSM construction helps the finished curtain hang with good body.

CARE

Because these are custom-made printed pure linen curtains, gentle professional cleaning is recommended where required.

Avoid aggressive washing, strong bleaching products or excessive mechanical agitation that could affect the natural linen fibre, print and lining.

For lined curtains in particular, professional cleaning helps avoid differential shrinkage between the face fabric and liner.

COLOUR VARIATION AND SCREENS

Please remember that colour appearance varies between devices.

The same fabric can appear slightly different depending on:

• Phone screen
• Computer monitor
• Screen brightness
• Display colour profile
• Natural daylight
• Warm indoor lighting
• Cool indoor lighting
• Surrounding wall colour

The principal appearance of this textile is:

NATURAL FLAX / OATMEAL BEIGE

with

MUSTARD / OCHRE

and

CHARCOAL BLACK.

Ordering a fabric swatch before ordering multiple or very large custom curtains is recommended whenever an exact colour match with existing furniture, paint or upholstery is essential.
